Weekend Wrap-up: Marriage Conference+ A Cookout

This weekend Ben and I went to a marriage conference at our church. We actually won tickets, so it was a totally free way to enrich our marriage. I don't know how many of you out there that actually read this are married, but I would strongly suggest a marriage conference! It is such an awesome way to work out any issues (and let's be real-we ALL have issues!) in a fun environment. And you get to learn something and spend some time with your spouse at one time! The conference was so good for us in so many ways and we had a great time!

After the conference on Saturday, we went to a cookout at Ben's friend's Scott's house (that's a whole lot of possessives!) and had a little archery shoot there as well. For those of you who don't know me, my hubby (Ben) is a semi-pro archer (as in he is no longer an amateur but he doesn't pay the super high entry fees that go along with the pro classes) and has been actively involved in the sport for a few years. We ate crawfish, burgers, steaks, and hot dogs and had a really great time. I actually took several pictures for once, but they all came out so blurry because of the smoke that it is pointless to show them here! (It was smoky because we had a HUGE bonfire-which Ben calls "Cave Man TV"- because it was FREEZING!!)
