Valentine's Day Linky Parties

Today I am linking up to two different linky parties- "Saw It. Pinned It. Did It," and "7 Lovely Things on Valentine's Day."  The first part of this post will be about my outfit that I "saw, pinned, and did." I first saw this outfit over at J's Everyday Fashion (which is on my daily blog troll list and is AMAZING for outfit inspiration." Then I pinned it. And today, I did it!

And here is my interpretation:

 Cute, right? It is a rare FREEZING day here in Florida (and by freezing I mean 50 degrees...we are such whiners down here in Florida ...) so I added my favorite black textured tights (they have a cool sweater weave) to make this look a little warmer! And honestly, I actually like the look better with the tights-I think it is more flattering!  I think if I were to wear this outfit again I would find a pink necklace for an added pop of color, but I am pretty pleased with this result.

1. My AMAZING husband. It wouldn't be Valentine's Day without a shout out to my Valentine! Love you baby!

Holy cannoli, y'all. I know this dress is old hat to some of you, but I am still super obsessed. I LOVE stripes, so it really cant get any better than this!!

5. My sweet dogs. They may not be glamorous, but they sure are lovely :)

They were sweet for approximately 2 seconds while this picture was being taken. Then they went back to terrorizing each other!!

6. Samford Hall @ Auburn University (my Alma Matter). Seriously the most beautiful place on Earth!! WAR EAGLE!!!
